Honest Man
By Ishraq Arafeh Walking slowly and mutely, the young nanny went inside the baby room. It was white and blue. Curtains closed, as they did not want the room to see the outside. His cradle looked comfortable and joyful. A soft blanket covered his small body, and he was in a deep sleep. She stood near, looked at him for a while and said: " This angel is so beautiful, but he came to a world out of mercy and full of wars. To grow up fine, I should grasp him outside". Then she stretched her arms to hold him, and once she felt his warmth, she ran outside. In an island of nowhere, the nanny reached with the baby in her arms. It was green and blue with different kind of colored fruits. The sky was clear, and the air was clean. No smell of worry and fear, nor the sound of engines and screams. Then she said: “This is the perfect place for babies to be raised. Nature had become more wisdom than any human had. No sorry for leaving the world as it became bloody and cruel." After years, the baby grew up to become spirited and sensitive, He built a house for his nanny, to whom he remained honest gentle man. A New Dawn By Ishraq Arafeh At the corner of heavy darkness, a lady who once known of being joyful was crying. Tears rolled down on her cheeks, with one thought keeps crossing her mind; "How to get back in time?" She dose not own her old life anymore, and the landowner is out of patience and glamour. The money she lost, and the marriage that broke made her so fragile to feel any hope. She raised her head to look through the window; when a white light came in the skyline announcing the end of the night. She stared there and then said: "This night has gone, same as what I used to own, and this light has crossed its way out of darkness. It looks like telling me there is always a hope of new chances". Then she wiped away her tears, fixed her gown, and opened the door. She walked toward her new dreams as a new dawn has started to appear. The Perfect World
By Ishraq Arafeh The sight is bright, the Sun is glaring, the breeze is amazing, and birds are soaring. White fluffy clouds are up in the blue sky, green leaves budding on trees, swans and ducks are swimming with peace. Butterflies are attracted to the beautiful blooms on all the routes. Laughter are heard everywhere, children are jumping around, women chatting in leisure, and men with hand and hand are planting saplings and building new homes out of stones. Then, the old soldier woke up from his dream, and said this is how our world should be, he threw his rifle away, took his rusty shovel from the gloom, and opened a ragged shred to take one seed. Then he went outside to the battlefield. It was full of destruction, black smoke, dead bodies, and the smell of fears. He rolled his sleeves, exposing his bale skin to the air, and planted the seed into the wet red ground. Then he addressed himself to the soldiers announcing himself being their new Captain, and said: "If we want peace, we need to stop fighting. War brings more wars. Blood causes more bloods. And the fire will leave nothing if WE do not put it to sleep. Let us get together to plant seeds. As this is how we will get peace, and the perfect world will be". The Bashful Flower By Ishraq Arafeh Once upon a time, a young bashful flower was looking to a swarm of bumblebees wandering about over her friends of flowers but her, leaving her sadly alone. A yellow flower friend of her noticed how blue she looked like, so she asked her about the reason of her sorrow. The bashful flower answered: "I have no one coming for me, all of you have visitors of bees but me". The yellow flower looked at her trying to recognize the reason for not having bees over her friend, and she noticed that her petals were closed. Then she told her: "You need to open up your petals to the sunlight, so everyone can notice you and come for you". The bashful flower replied: "I can't, I am afraid!". Then her friend said: "No need to be afraid as long as we are around you, just do like us, and later you will find your own way of having visitors and new friends". Then she continued: "Listen! There is away for everything, so you need to follow our way, look around you, you will find that all of us have opened petals". The bashful flower thought about her advice and spent the rest of that day looking at the petals of the other flowers. On the next day the bashful flower opened her petals just like the other flowers, and bees started to come visiting her, she was happy as her friend advice worked like magic, then she started to totter left and right, and that made her even look more friendly and lovely, so different kind of bees started to come over her. She smiled Thank You to the yellow flower. The bashful flower is not alone and sad anymore.nds of flowers but her, leaving her sadly alone.
